See you next year, or at Writers Room, or . . .
The 4th Annual WordXWord Festival – a celebration of the power of words - will run from Saturday, August 11 through Saturday, August 18 and present dozens of word workers – authors, poets, story tellers, spoken word artists and songwriters. WXW takes place in traditional and not-so-traditional venues ranging from a barbershop to a theatre, a bra shop to a tapas bar in the recently designated Upstreet Cultural District of Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
The WordXWord Festival kicks off August 11, 2012 with a pre-festival celebration on the roof of the Greystone Building. Since its inception, this party, with its spectacular rooftop location and dynamic mix of artists and audience, patrons and poets, has been the party of the summer. The rooftop party is the only event associated with the festival with an admission fee - all performances are free. If you are interested in being among the first to know when and how to purchase tickets to the rooftop party, make sure to sign up for the WXW mailing list (above right).
